Candidate for Recording Secretary

Besides being the secretary, I have been with URA-AFT since its organizing days, and was part of the first bargaining team. I am also a steward. It has been an incredible learning experience, and hope to continue sharing that with both the organization and individual members.
What goals would you like to accomplish in the next three years?
I would like to make certain administrative aspects more 21st century. A
major request of our members has been electronic access to minutes and
other URA info, via a "members only" portal on our website, with indexing.
What skills or qualifications do you bring to the position?
I have nine years experience at Rutgers-Newark in Career Development. I
also was a secretary for five years while putting myself through graduate
school.
