During my tenure as an Executive Board Member with the URA-AFT, I have had the opportunity to meet with many of our members and discuss those things that are most significant to them. I have also served as chair of the Professional Development Committee. The committee has met several times to begin to establish procedures regarding issues that are of importance to URA members. The Committee has begun to identify professional and work-related needs of the membership and develop programs and activities that will meet those needs. I'm enthusiastic about accomplishing these objectives over the next few years.

At Rutgers, I have been a member of the staff and faculty doing both teaching and advising. In my current position as a learning specialist, I have had the chance to interact with staff, faculty members and students at the University. If re-elected to the Executive Board, I will continue serving the needs of our members by working towards the best RU working environment by reaching out and listening to and interacting with our members.
