Thank you for electing me to the Executive Board in 2007! In my 23 year career as a member of the RU community I have worked with various departments, faculty, staff, and students. Members find me; walking the campus, in our Student Centers or supporting our student athletes as a season ticket holder in Football /Womens' Basbetball.  GO RU!!!

Below are some of the areas that I volunteer or serve:

  • URA Contract Negotiations team
  •  URA Executive Board and Steward
  • URA Chair of Health and Safety (H&S) committee.
  •  Ascension Lutheran Church Council member.
  •  Responsible for overseeing OSHA grants that brought $5000 into the H&S budget.
  • Filed a PEOSH complaint against RU for not having adequate evacuation and emergency plans. RU was cited, remediated the violations. It was effective in bringing Labor/Management together to work on common goals, including ongoing H1N1 discussions.
  •  Co-Chaired H&S Coalition at RU that brought together seven unions.
  • Advisory Board Member for the AFT National - Health and Safety Committee.
  • Member of Int’l Assoc. Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.
